Medical expertise
The German Center for Orthopedics is a clinic providing maximum care in orthopedics. With the professorship for orthopedics from the medical faculty at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, the clinic is at the heart of research: it unites science, teaching and the highest level of medical care under one roof in Eisenberg.
In our comfort station, you will also have the opportunity to be treated by a senior physician, for example by the medical director of the Waldkliniken Eisenberg and senior physician of the German Center for Orthopedics, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Georg Matziolis.
Professor Matziolis has been one of the most prominent experts in the field of endoprosthetics for many years. With evidence-based medicine and state-of-the-art methods as a foundation, the Waldkliniken Eisenberg and their departments have been the first choice in the field of endoprosthetics in Europe for many years.

Architecture
The LEVEL 5 comfort station is the masterpiece by Matteo Thun in our new building. “Healing Architecture” is the name of the new concept for hospital architecture developed by the internationally renowned architect – and he has set the gold standard with our new building.
The best way to experience it is on the fourth floor of our building, in the LEVEL 5 comfort station: Choice materials, furniture designed exclusively for the station, custom wall decor and high-quality fabrics perfect the hotel-like ambiance of our house to create a 5-star experience. Premium furnishings that exceed those of a hotel round out the atmosphere.

Of course you can also share the amenities in our patient hotel with an accompanying person. As a special service for patients of our LEVEL 5 - Comfort station, you have the option to book an accompanying person in the same room.
For accommodation on a pull-out couch in the patient's single room (suite) in the LEVEL 5 - Comfort station, we add a fixed surcharge per day that includes full board and all services for the accompanying person.
